Modern engines, especially turbocharged and European engines, need oil that meets a specific manufacturer approval, not just the right viscosity. How often should you change your oil?
Follow your car's maintenance schedule or oil life monitor, but remember that short trips, heavy traffic and high heat count as severe service. Do you use synthetic oil?
Yes. Most modern engines require full synthetic oil. We use oil that meets the approval listed by your manufacturer, and we can also use conventional or high mileage oil where it is specified.
How long does an oil change take?
Usually 30 to 45 minutes. Call ahead and we will tell you when the lift is free.
Will an oil change at an independent shop affect my warranty?
No. In the United States you can have maintenance done at any qualified shop as long as the correct parts and fluids are used and the service is documented. We give you an itemized invoice for your records.
Can you service European cars with special oil specs?
Yes. We service BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche and other European cars with the exact approved oil they require.
