Why a follow-up adjustment is sometimes needed
After suspension parts are replaced, the geometry can start far outside the normal range. When the first readings are that far off, a small amount of settling or target movement during the first adjustment is normal. That is why we road test every car after suspension work. If the car still pulls slightly, we recheck the alignment and make the final adjustment before you pick it up.

Questions about wheel alignment
How often should I get a wheel alignment?
Check alignment once a year, whenever you install new tires, and any time you hit a curb or a deep pothole. If the steering wheel is off center or the car pulls, have it checked right away.
How long does a wheel alignment take?
Most alignments take about one hour. Cars that need seized adjusters freed, parts replaced or a steering angle sensor calibration can take longer. We tell you before we start.
Do I need an alignment after new tires?
It is strongly recommended. New tires on a misaligned car can wear out in a few thousand miles, which costs far more than the alignment.
Can you align my car if it has worn suspension parts?
We inspect the suspension first. If a tie rod end, ball joint or bushing is worn, we show you and quote the repair, because an alignment will not hold on loose parts.
